This featured Selborne walk from Hampshire County Council, takes in the locally renowned hangers (steep sided wooded valleys), to fantastic secluded pubs, mile upon mile of footpath, bridleway and byway.
This relatively small area has much to offer. The little loop starts at the back of the Selborne Arms and takes approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours to do.
Why not do a Sunday morning walk followed by a hearty Sunday roast at one of the 2 pubs in Selborne, both of which have a great selection of ales.
Along the walk, you may catch glimpses of roe deer, buzzards getting mobbed by crows, various water fowl, if you’re really lucky, a kingfisher darting along the river.
