The walk takes place during daylight rainfall in Zermatt, Switzerland. Zermatt is a mountain resort renowned for skiing, climbing and hiking.
Zermatt lies at 1620 metres at the upper end of the Matter valley in the western Swiss canton of Valais, just across the border from its neighbour Italy.
Uniquely positioned the area gets around 300 days sunshine every year.
Only electric vehicles, without combustion engines, are allowed in Zermatt. The village has been petrol and car free since 1947.
